We’re looking for a detail-driven Accountant to join a growing finance team and take ownership of key accounting functions. If you’re confident with reconciliations, reporting and day-to-day financial processes, this could be the perfect next step in your career.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare and draft annual financial statements on CaseWare for several clients
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with IFRS, Companies Act, and SARS requirements
- Work closely with clients, directors, and internal divisions to resolve queries
- Perform quality checks and reviews of financial statements before submission
- Prepare supporting schedules and reconciliations and finalize working paper files
- Keep up to date with changes in accounting standards and regulatory requirements and apply them within the team
Desired Experience & Qualification
- 3-5 years’ experience
- BCom or similar qualification
- Completion of SAIPA or SAICA articles
- CaseWare experience is beneficial
