Accountant - Paarl (Hybrid) R30 000 - R40 000 CTC
The Client is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to oversee their full accounting function up to trial balance, ensuring strict accuracy and compliance across all financial operations. Duties & Responsibilities
Minimum requirements
- A finance or accounting degree (e.g. BCom Accounting / BCom Financial Management)
- 3–5 years' experience in a similar accounting role, gained in the service industry (candidates with manufacturing-only experience will not be considered)
- Solid working knowledge of South African tax, VAT and SARS eFiling
- Experience preparing management accounts and working with budgets
- Strong Excel skills
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines
- Own reliable transport
Advantageous
- SAIPA (Professional Accountant (SA) or similar professional designation
- Bilingual in English and Afrikaans
- Experience in loss adjusting or a claims environment
