Key Responsibilities

Treasury & Cash Management

• Manage a portfolio of clients and serve as their primary accounting contact

• Review bookkeeping, reconciliations, and trial balances

• Prepare management accounts and financial reports

• Compile annual financial statements

• Prepare and submit VAT, PAYE, Income Tax, and Provisional Tax returns

• Manage SARS eFiling submissions, registrations, and audit queries

• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements

• Process payroll and provide payroll-related support to clients

• Identify and implement process improvements

• Provide guidance and training on accounting systems and processes

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications

• BCom Accounting or equivalent qualification

• Completed SAIPA articles advantageous

Skills and Experience

• Minimum 1.5 years' experience managing the full accounting function for a portfolio of clients

• Experience preparing annual financial statements

• Strong understanding of tax compliance and regulatory requirements

• Experience with accounting software and cloud-based systems

• Strong communication, organisational, and client relationship management skills

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
