An established and dynamic organisation in the Stellenbosch area is seeking a detail-oriented and driven Financial Accountant to join their finance team.
This role offers broad exposure across financial reporting, statutory compliance, stock management, and forex administration within a fast-paced operational environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations
- Processing of month-end journals
- Maintaining and updating fixed asset register and depreciation
- VAT preparation and reconciliations
- EMP201 submissions and statutory compliance
- Stock takes, adjustments and inter-location stock transfers
- Forex administration and foreign funds processing
- Audit preparation and support
- Assisting with payroll-related submissions
- Supporting the Financial Manager and broader finance team
Minimum Requirements
- Financial Accounting Diploma or BCom Degree
- SAIPA registered
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a financial/corporate environment
- Strong reconciliation and reporting experience
- High attention to detail and deadline driven
- Experience on Business Central advantageous
- Exposure to stock and operational environments beneficial
