Location:  Muizenberg Cape Town Crusaders Corporate is a busy Import and Wholesale business. We are looking for an experienced and capable Accountant to join our Cape Town Head Office. Are you an experienced accountant looking to play a key role in a dynamic import and distribution business? We are seeking a commercially minded Accountant with strong technical accounting skills and a keen eye for detail to join our finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement are valued. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.

• Perform reconciliations through to balance sheet level.

• Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and ensure accurate financial records.

• Manage inventory accounting, landed costs, and import cost allocations.

• Ensure accurate product costing and margin reporting.

• Reconcile supplier accounts, bank accounts, and balance sheet control accounts.

• Assist with month-end and year-end financial close processes.

• Support external auditors and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

• Identify process improvements and strengthen financial controls.

Minimum Requirements

• BCom Accounting or equivalent tertiary qualification.

• SAIPA, CIMA, or SAICA articles/qualification will be advantageous.

• Minimum 5 years' accounting experience, preferably within an import, wholesale, manufacturing, or distribution environment.

• Strong understanding of:

• Inventory accounting

• Import costings and landed costs

• Balance sheet reconciliations

• General ledger accounting

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

• Experience with ERP/accounting systems.

• High level of accuracy, analytical ability, and attention to detail.
