Our client based in Durban is on the search for an Accountant to join their team.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Full accounting function upto trial balance and financial statements
- VAT
- Reconciliations
- Journals
- Creditors and Debtors
- General Ledger
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Relevant accounting qualification
- Minimum 3-5 years' accounting experience
- Experience managing the full accounting function up to trial balance and financial statements
- Strong knowledge of VAT, reconciliations, journals, creditors, debtors, and general ledger
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Honest, reliable and trustworthy
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple companies simultaneously
- Strong organisational and communication skills
