The successful candidate should be a fully qualified SAIPA Accountant or have completed SAIPA articles or similar background, with strong technical accounting knowledge and proven experience in preparing monthly management accounts and financial reporting. Detail: Key requirements: SAIPA qualified or completed articles Strong knowledge of IFRS for SMEs Strong VAT and company tax knowledge Experience preparing and analysing monthly management accounts Experience with budgets, forecasts and projections Ability to complete reconciliations on all trial balance accounts Experience supervising accounting team members and ensuring reporting deadlines are met Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage or similar Strong Microsoft 365 and Excel skills Experience working across multiple group entities and preparing group management reports Knowledge of inventory and stock controls, including forex adjustments Knowledge of imports, exports, customs and the related accounting and VAT treatment Strong attention to detail, numeracy and professional judgement Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain financial information clearly to directors This position will suit a hands-on, organised Accountant who can work independently, manage multiple priorities and take ownership of the accounting function. show more...
