We're looking for an Accountant to join our growing finance team and play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy and compliance.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare and review financial statements and management reports
- Perform reconciliations across bank accounts, debtors, creditors, and more
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries
- Handle VAT, PAYE, and statutory submissions
- Support audit processes and liaise with external auditors
- Process invoices, receipts, and payments efficiently
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
- Ensure full compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Post-article experience
- Currently studying towards a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with 2+ years proven experience, OR
- Completed Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with completed articles (SAICA/SAIPA or equivalent)
- Experience with accounting software (Sage, Xero, or similar) is advantageous
