The successful candidate will act as the primary point of contact, identify project requirements, recommend suitable furniture solutions, prepare quotations and specifications, and oversee orders from confirmation through to delivery and installation. The role combines account management, sales, project coordination, and business development within the architecture and design community. Detail: Minimum requirements for the role: Must have a National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) Proven client relationship management and account-servicing skills, with the ability to build trust, maintain ongoing communication, and manage expectations Demonstrated sales and negotiation skills in a B2B environment, including experience preparing quotations, handling objections, and closing opportunities Strong project coordination and organisational skills, including managing timelines, tracking orders, and collaborating with cross-functional teams Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present solutions clearly to clients and internal stakeholders Proficiency with CRM tools and standard office software (spreadsheets, presentations, email) The successful candidate will be responsible for: Managing a portfolio of existing clients and acting as the primary point of contact for interior designers, architects, and other project stakeholders. Identifying client and project requirements and recommending suitable high-quality commercial furniture solutions. Preparing accurate quotations, product specifications, and supporting documentation. Overseeing the full order process from confirmation through to delivery and installation, ensuring accuracy and on-time execution. Collaborating closely with internal teams, suppliers, designers, and architects to ensure projects are delivered to specification and schedule. Resolving client queries and issues promptly and professionally. Conducting regular client meetings and site visits to assess needs, support implementation, and strengthen relationships. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system. Identifying and pursuing opportunities to expand existing accounts through additional product offerings and complementary solutions. Supporting business development by researching market opportunities, presenting furniture solutions, and cultivating long-term partnerships within the architecture and design community.
