Accessible Transport Driver

Main Objective
- To provide safe, accessible, reliable and dignified transport services that enable students with disabilities to participate fully in academic, residential, social, leadership and co-curricular activities, thereby supporting the University's commitment to equity, inclusion and student success.
The Requirements
- Grade 12
- A valid Code 08 preferably a Code 10 driver's license
- A Professional Driving Permit PDP is a requirement
- Minimum of 6 months' driving experience in passenger transport. It could be an advantage for the incumbent to have one year of experience as a driver transporting passengers.
- Minimum of 6 months' experience working with persons with disabilities or working with students within a higher education environment.
- Ability to operate wheelchair restraints, ramps and other accessibility equipment.
- Valid First Aid Level 1 Certificate
- Clean driving record.
