- A minimum of bachelor of science NQF 7 in Statistics; attach transcript
- New entrants into the statistics environment in other words, applicants must not have previously worked or held an statistics internship position
- Knowledge of statistical software such as EVIEWS, SPSS, SAS, STATA, R or Python will be an added advantage
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Particularly Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Good analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills
- Must be a South African citizen
DUTIES
- Assist with Institutional research projects from planning through to reporting
- Support the collection of quantitative and qualitative data for institutional studies
- Assist with Institutional surveys, including questionnaire preparation, data collection and survey administration
- Assist with analysing research findings and preparing research reports
- Assist in compiling Institutional statistical report and performance reports
- Assist in preparing presentations and briefing material for management meetings and Academic committees
- Provide support on Institutional research and data analytics projects
- Participate in Departmental meetings, workshops and training activities
- Maintain project documentation, datasets and analytical records
- Assist with project coordination and administrative activities
- Perform any other duties related to Academic research, data analytics and reporting as assigned by the supervisor
