This role holds full accountability for the custody of G4S vehicles and assets during operational deployment, delivering Cash in Transit (CIT) services to a range of clients. The postholder will ensure strict compliance with all company policies, driver operating procedures, and directives at all times.

Maintain company security standards by adhering to all vehicle and equipment procedures
Receive and sign for the vehicle and all equipment, ensuring everything is in full working order; immediately report any faults to management
Conduct a thorough vehicle inspection before departure, checking mechanical roadworthiness and systems, and complete the daily driver checklist in accordance with the company's Mandatory Security Principles (MSP)
Take full responsibility for all systems, technology, and equipment used within the vehicle throughout the day
Inspect the vehicle after completing daily duties and report any defects or concerns to the Control Room and management before signing off, allowing sufficient time for rectification prior to the next scheduled use
Drive the vehicle responsibly and report details of accidents, robberies, or other incidents
Drive responsibly, complying with all traffic regulations as outlined in the Road Traffic Act
Adhere to all G4S Health and Safety standards, including the 'Zero Tolerance Zero Harm' policy and the 12 Golden Rules
If safe and possible, take photographs of the accident scene by the crew member, custodian or third party
Immediately report all incidents to the Control Room, branch, and relevant authorities
