Coordinate with and consult other workers to design, lay out, or detail components and systems and to resolve design or other problems.
Review and analyse specifications, sketches, drawings, ideas, and related data to assess.
Produce fabrication and shop drawings, as well as bill of materials and item lists.
Modify and revise designs to correct operating deficiencies and to improve on existing designs thorough optimization.
Check dimensions of materials to be used and assign numbers to the materials.
Lay out and draw schematic, orthographic, or angle views to depict functional relationships of components, assemblies, systems, and machines.
3D model new mechanical, structural, civil, and piping models.
Draw up general arrangement plant layouts for tender purposes
Basic understanding of ISO 9001 (Quality).
Correct archiving of drawings, revisions, naming, transmitting etc.
Communicate directly with engineers and clients regarding designs and changes.
Perform quality inspections on fabricated goods, including site visits to confirm items are build and assembled according to drawing
