Job Title: 2x Traffic Management Operator Start Date: 2026-08-02 - 2026-08-03 Vacancy Type: Permanent JHB000207 Sectors: Road/transport Infrastructure Location: Gauteng , Centurion Salary: Brief: cctv|cctv operator|incident management|operator Company: FMS GP (Tolcon) Location: Rooihuiskraal, Centurion Reports to: Traffic Management Centre (TMC) Supervisor Detail: Qualifications and Skills Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills: Grade 12 At least 2 years of Incident Management Systems or CCTV surveillance experience Conversant in at least 2 languages Computer literacy Assertiveness Good people skills Ability to cope with unusual work schedules Team player Strong communication and writing skills Microsoft Office Excel, Outlook, and Internet Telephone etiquette Multi-tasking skills Ability to work under pressure Essential Duties & Responsibilities The successful candidate's responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Actively monitor and detect incidents within 3 minutes of their occurrence via the various detection methods. Ensure accurate logging and verification of all detected incidents. Dissemination of information regarding active incidents. Dispatching of On Road Services Vehicles as well as coordination with relevant response units during active incidents. Monitor, record, and report all roadside and TMC equipment malfunctions. Ensure accurate and timeous completion of all administrative functions related to KPIs. This job specification outlines the main duties of the role and is not an exhaustive list.
