Job Description
- A vacancy currently exists for a Clerical Admin Environmental Monitor at the Cape Regional Office. This is a fixed term contract ending March 2027. The total remuneration package is a basic salary as per Expanded Public Works Programme rates of R406 per day.
- Preference will be given to unemployed persons aged between 18-35 years, women & Persons Living with Disabilities.
Requirements
- Matric/Grade 12/ NCV level 4 certificate.
- Post-secondary school qualification in Human Resources, Office/Business Administration, Public Administration or relevant equivalent qualification NQF Level 6 would be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 1-2 years Human Resources and General Office Administration experience.
- Language proficiency in English and one other local language
- Computer Competency MS Outlook, Word and Excel, Power Point, MS Teams and databases this will be assessed.
- Computer literacy levels will be tested.
- Clear criminal record.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Valid Driver's License will serve as an added advantage.
- Preference will be given to applicants of local communities.
- Proof of residence City of Cape Town Municipality.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all the administration linked to the implementation of the BSP and other programmes.
- Receive and check documentation for correctness and completeness.
- Facilitate the Human Capital Management & financial administration.
- Coordinate training & travel logistics.
- Monitor and produce monthly reports on the progress of projects.
- Maintain the database of all Monitors/Intern projects and their activities.
- Ensure compliance of the BSP and SANParks MOU for this project.
- Assist with the training needs and implementation for the programmes.
- Be the link between the Monitors in the Cape Region, BSP Office & Head Office.
